Nestle, the manufacturing company, gave our children a generous donation about a month ago. They loaded us up with lots of Lactogen 1 (formula for 0-6 month olds), NIDO (a powdered milk that is great for those over 1 year), and Cerelac baby cereal (used as a transition food for babies)! It was a HUGE blessing. Much of the Lactogen 1 will be going to our formula milk program. All of our baby house kids are now drinking NIDO every day instead of whole milk, providing them with needed vitamins and minerals, as well as saving the ministry LOTS of money. Their milk costs about $500 a month but will cost us nothing for the next many months! And the babies in the bercario (nursery) are loving Cerelac instead of the bland papinha (baby cereal) they were receiving before. Plus Cerelac has great nutrients for them as well!
All of that to say THANK YOU Nestle for blessing our children!
The question now is, where do we store it all???
(This is the back of one of our medical cares FULL of just a small portion of the Lactogen 1...such a generous donation!)
too bad you couldn't use the ummmm....locked medical center as a milk storage center. ;)
